Looking for a bite to eat while in DC for work. Found this spot on our walk near DuPont Circle. Walk in to dine in or order and sit outside. Looks like quite a few people were doing pre order pick ups. Had the Connecticut Lobster roll which was warm and full of meat. My order came with side pickle, coleslaw(you can choose your side if you combo it), and a drink. Got a bowl of lobster bisque as well. All and all felt satisfied with my food. It hit the spot after traveling all night. Fair is fair come and check this place out. Service was fast and efficient and the food was commensurate with pricing.

We were in the area and looking for a quick lunch. Years ago we ate at a lobster roll competitor in DC. Who knew that DC was a hotbed of lobster rolls outside of New England? It was pretty quiet but we had just missed what appears to be the rush for take-out orders - there were at least 30 bags on the counter waiting for pickup. I ordered the Connecticut style with warm butter which was very good with plenty of meat for the $20. The lobster grilled cheese was also quite tasty. Both came out relatively quickly. Good food at a good price.

So good I forgot to take photos, oopsie! My friend and I were hungry and craving seafood so we decided to try Mason's based on the good reviews and deal they had on UberEats. I ordered the Crab Roll and the deal allows you to get a free cup (8 oz) of New England clam chowder. Both were a 5/5! There was plenty of crab meat and well seasoned with the old bay! My friend ordered The Bar Harbor (Connecticut) which came with a free cup (8 oz) of lobster bisque. He enjoyed the roll but was not too fond of the lobster bisque (neither was I). As seafood lovers, we need the bisque to be loaded and flavorful! ;) I definitely recommend considering the food overall was great, they have cool deals and the food traveled well via delivery service.

I found this close to DuPont Curcle on 19th street. It was empty at 7!pm on a Saturday night but I was craving lobster. The Connecticut roll is the one they serve warm. It had a lot of lobster- almost too much for me to finish! Every bite was a slice of heaven - yummy. Sooo worth it at $19.95. I added a lobster bisque which was overkill - I was too full to eat it. And it was smooth, creamy but no lobster bits. I'd skip it next time. Service was good and easy. And I I had the whole place to myself.

Omg!! The best lobster roll I have ever had. It was full of buttery sweet lobster. The roll was buttery toasty. I really can't express how satisfying this was. I also had the lobster Mac and cheese.. also delicious. The Gouda cheese was a surprising complement to the lobster. And I couldn't believe the price. I have paid over $22 for a less superior roll. I am a fan.

I grew up in New England, caught and cooked countless lobsters and have had too many lobster rolls to count. However, I live in NorCal and while visiting DC we stopped in to Mason's for a quick bite. The rolls were cheaper than anything you could find back home so why not? They were great! And the potato salad was perfect- exactly how I made mine. Nothing fancy but darn perfect lobstah rolls

Yummy! Not quite as good as what you'll find in Boston or the New England states but a close second. Lots of lobster and the buttered roll was delicious

Ordered 2 garlic shrimp and 2 regular shrimp rolls for delivery. The regular shrimp rolls with the mayo is better than the garlic one (which is pretty dry, doesn't have much sauce with it). But both types have great bread and very tasty, plump and juicy shrimp. Would def order these again. The clam chowder was also pretty good.

Being from MA, I'm very picky about my seafood. I think Mason's makes a pretty solid Lobster Roll. I had the Bar Harbor, which comes with 50% more meat. The roll had a good amount of butter on it and there was a good amount of lobster meat. I also enjoyed the Potato Salad. The calorie count isn't bad at all her either.

You taste freshness in the firm and naturally sweet lobster. Bread is crispy outside while tender inside. Highly recommend the classic ones, Connecticut tastes a bit plain to me. Staffs were welcoming and recommended in a concise way. A cool new place in the area.
